The Consolata Fathers’ school in Alaba has long been a reference point for the local community: stable, well-organised education in a setting where that is anything but a given. In recent years the number of enrolment requests has risen significantly, making structural work necessary in order to take in more students.
The project involves building three new classrooms, with the aim of increasing the school’s capacity and improving learning conditions for students and teachers alike.
Aims of the project
- Provide additional places for around 90 students.
- Improve how classes are distributed, reducing overcrowding.
- Provide functional classrooms with good ventilation and natural light.
- Equip the new classrooms with essential furniture and wiring ready for an electrical connection.

Project status
- In the design and budgeting phase.

This project does not change the school’s educational approach: it answers a practical need. Giving more children access and improving general teaching conditions is a necessary step to keep up with the steady growth of Alaba’s school population.
